A Beginning

Pictures have arrived from the other side of the globe! This is the first step of Return Home Secondary school. The students are involved in a year of English and Math to prepare them for their first year of secondary school. They’ve all attended government sponsored elementary schools which are taught in Swahili. All secondary schools are taught in English. You’d better believe that first year switching from Swahili to English in the classroom is horrific. These students will be ready for it! Until the building is constructed, the class will meet in this one room church that is donating it’s space. It is a good beginning.
